Lonx
Springer · by Orion Blasters
The Lonx is a spring-powered bullpup blaster based on the Lynx design from Orion Blasters. It is a lengthened version, built around a single premise: a larger chassis that can drive a heavier spring load and hit harder. It feeds from Talon magazines with gravity drop and is primed by a foregrip mounted on a Picatinny rail. Real-world velocity is around 250 to 300 fps, the highest of the Lynx family; for lower velocity a Lynx is recommended. The printable files are published by Dan on Printables, based on the Orion Blasters design, and the hardware kit is sold by Out of Darts for $77.
Build & quality
The Lonx follows the Lynx closely, extended to accommodate a longer stroke and a heavier spring. Chassis stiffness is moderate, on par with most 3D-printed blasters. Just like the Lynx, The Lonx’s fire control group is weaker than average: the trigger and sear interface is small and can be prone to breakage.
The build guide for the Lynx can be followed near 1 to 1 for the Minx, and there is no mainstream lonx build guide.
Ergonomics
Priming is done with a foregrip mounted on a Picatinny rail, which can be swapped with the user’s choice. The main grip and the stock are both fixed, with no adjustment if the stock geometry does not suit the user. Sling points are built in.

Maintenance
Maintenance follows the same pattern as the rest of the family. A single takedown pin at the front releases the spring and plunger for cleaning or replacement, and two thumb screws secure the barrel, allowing it to be swapped without tools. Spring pre-compression can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the lock nuts on the plunger.
Verdict
The Lonx is the highest-velocity member of the Lynx family, aimed at players looking to maximize fps within a bullpup, 3D-printed configuration. At $77 the kit is priced close to the Lynx. Its trade-offs are the reverse of the Minx: the added length erodes the compactness that makes a bullpup appealing. For anyone prioritizing raw power in a printable bullpup, the Lonx is the family’s top choice, before purchase, look at the Lynx or Minx and pick the one best suited to your needs.
